The Diocese of Eastern Oregon

Our diocese was originally part of the Diocese of Oregon.  On October 14, 1907, the Missionary District of Eastern Oregon was created by an act of General  Convention.  We became a diocese in 1970.  The Rev. Patrick Bell was elected the seventh bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Eastern Oregon Dec. 12, 2015 at Church of the Redeemer, Pendleton.
Twenty-two congregations comprise the Diocese of  Eastern Oregon. Geographically we are spread over 69,000 square miles extending from the Cascade Mountain range in the west to Oregon's eastern border, and bounded north and  south by the Oregon state line.  Klickitat County, Washington is also part of the Diocese.  The  diocesan office is located Ascension School in Cove, Oregon.

Visit the Diocese of Eastern Oregon's website for more details.
